Description
Steve, a rambunctious teen, has been causing quite a headache for his mother. To teach him a lesson in responsibility, she signs him up to be a foster caretaker of a puppy from the Kansas Specialty Dog Service. Steve chooses Banner, a loveable Labrador that he welcomes home with the help of his younger sister, Emily. The foster program only lasts for one year, and Emily struggles to understand why they can't keep Banner forever. But her outlook changes when she is able to pass on her four-legged friend to Curtis, a young man who was recently paralyzed and is still coming to terms with his new life in a wheelchair.
